-The mask is made in the USA but not a union product.
This project is a crossover design from a Columbus artist we love, WXVVY (pronounced Wavy). We asked him to create an original design for a mask and shirts so we could get him some work and raise money for Greater Columbus Arts Council, which he chose. So, the profits from this shirt will be split 3 ways, and our cut will go towards shipping supplies, shopify fees, ads, paying people to pack the shirts and buying stickers to throw in with the orders. It will also allow us to recoup some funds for the business that we've lost from not touring.
Why this Design?
"Basically what I did was smoke a bunch of weed and then said to myself, "Alright, let's make this cool-ass shirt right now."
Why Greater Columbus Arts Council?
"They have provided grants to me to pursue my art on more than one occasion and it was crucial to keeping me on this path. Right now they are raising money for an economic hardship fund for Franklin County artists. I want to use this opportunity to give back to an organization that has helped me, so they can continue helping more artists. "
The current pandemic crisis caused by COVID-19 has created an economic hardship for Franklin County’s artists. With the cancellation of events and educational art programs, many artists lost essential income to cover basic needs.
